I got to help pray over fellow students today - hearts and bodies were healed! But the personal experience came after...I was prayed over after for a baptism of the Holy Spirit that I may speak in tongues. Never done this before, didn't really know that you could pray for that - kind of thought it was always weird! I felt the Holy Spirit as I was prayed for but didn't speak in tongues.
But as I was walking home afterwards, I started to pray out loud, thanking and praising God for the awesome prayer time I had just been part of. To my surprise, it came out in another language! In my head I was speaking English to God, but audibly it was in tongues! I felt like God waited to give me that gift because He knew in my heart that I was interested in the gift, instead of the giver of gifts, Him! I'm so thankful I still got to experience Him in that way! Crazy! God is so awesome!

Myles' Back Testimony
Hey everyone I just wanted to share my Testimony.
I have had immense back for about 3 months and it was not nearly close to getting better. Until last Friday. Last Friday I had a blessing happen to me. As I sat in class my professor made a statement saying "if anyone has any back pain, stay after class so I could pray over you." I immediately felt as if she was talking directly to me. It kinda of scared me, so my first thought was not to stay but to leave and handle the problem myself. As class ended I walked out the door, but as I walked out something told me to come back in and get prayed for.
I walked back in and have 6 students and my professor pray over me. They prayed several times and I didn't feel a thing; but there was a voice in my head telling me that I needed to believe in the healing and personally ask God to heal me. I listened to the voice in my head and began talking to God and telling Him I believe and would love for Him to heal me. Instantly after talking to God during the prayers being said they asked if my back feels any better and suddenly I felt the pain go away. I began to bend my back like never before while in pain. It was a blessing. I was one not to believe in healings before but once the healing happened to me I began to not doubt God and His power. In all this experience has brought me even closer to God.

Erica's Healing After a Car Accident
A month ago I was rear ended. All that could go through my mind was my back. I had a previous back surgery due to scoliosis and once I got rear ended I could feel my back just starting to hurt. As we waited for the ambulance and the firefighters and the police to get there I could feel my back progressively getting worse. I was transported to the hospital and they did an x-ray and luckily everything was good.
But as the days went by I kept having spams constantly. Practically all day my back would have spasms. I also kept having these very random shocks of pain through my back, like when a nerve is pinched and it just gives you this shock and runs down your spine. About two weeks went by and I did not see any improvement even though I kept praying about it but still nothing. I remember going to the doctor and after coming back from the doctor having the worst muscle spasm and just crying about it because it was all so overwhelming and that's when I decided I was going to ask for a prayer from my professor and see if that help.
I was sitting down when I got the email response and a prayer with it and My muscle spasm just went away almost instantly. I was shocked cause I could not believe how I was so overwhelmed by how it would not go away but it did right then and there. It did not fully go away but my professor prayed one more time in person and all the shocks in my back were completely gone. The muscle spasm had minimize to maybe one or two a day and then about a week ago we all prayed as a class over it as well as prayed over other students and since then I have gone without a muscle spasm or pain in my back. I have not had a muscle spasm since the day we prayed over it in class. It is all completely gone! I feel great now.
Also we were having issues with the car insurance because my car was totaled. Either I had to pull out another $1500 for the down payment only which I do not have at the moment or I would be left without a car. So my professor prayed over the situation of the car and within a day or so things got sorted out and we were able to get enough money for the down payment! I was able to get a brand new car, again, but with a few cool features my other car did not have.
I feel extremely blessed because God did all of these things for me. He healed my back, gave me a new car, reduced all the stress I was having and showed me that he loves me and cares for me even when I have fallen down. All I can say is God does amazing things and he will make things work for our own good and he just shows us every day how amazing he is and we must thank him for every blessing he puts in our lives.

Priscilla's Freedom from Fear and Neck Pain
Starting a couple weeks ago I have been overwhelmed with fear in many different areas of my life and attacked with worry and fearful thoughts everyday. This led to significant pain in my neck and tension that got so bad the muscles in my neck were pushing on my throat. My throat was in a lot of discomfort and I couldn't even swallow water without being in pain. I also was getting bad headaches everyday from this and just overwhelmed and in a place where I couldn't sort anything out but was trying so hard to have control over these situations. This last weekend I went home and took time to rest, spend time with the Lord and get my neck massaged so the pain was more bearable. This significantly helped and I continued to pray that God would heal me in this and give me strength to preserve and have patience spiritually as I was walking through this.
Then this past Tuesday I finally came to a point where I recognized that fear was controlling my life and that I needed to let go of these worries and trust that God was going to take care of me. Recognizing Jesus in my pain and my confusion literally washed all of my fears away and gave me incredible peace and joy. The rest of my neck pain and tension was released that day and has not come back and I have not had a headache since then. Praise God ! He truly does cast out our fears with His perfect love and wraps us in His arms to take care of us.

Cancer Healed!
Lucas Davis gave me permission to post this testimony. After God healed Lucas' leg (scroll down on this blog to read his testimony), his faith for healing went WAY up. So he called his Grandpa who was dying of cancer and prayed for him. Two weeks later the doctors said his Grandpa was cancer free, and there was no medical explanation for it! We serve an awesome God!
God Likes to Heal Joshuas
On Wednesday in class, Joshua Young started to cough in the middle of the lecture and the professor stopped, saying, "Lord I just pray over my brother Joshua that you heal his cough and anything else with his health." I did not think much of this, but remembered the whole week I have had a gnarely cough and even the class before OT I was having a cough attack. Then about 10 minutes later I realized I hadn't coughed in class yet, and I still haven't since. Plus I'm not sick anymore. Pretty sick how God works in ways like that!

Michael Steps Out in Faith
Recently I have been learning what it means to really love God with my whole heart. This past week I was talking with God and He was just reminding me of times when I was happiest and was feeling great and those were times that I was serving Him. That morning I just simply asked The Lord to give me opportunities to serve Him. That day I saw a girl who I knew had recently been hurting in her feet and God so clearly told me to pray for her. Although there was a fear of going up and actually doing it The Lord told me He is not of fear, and it's not of Him. I ended up stepping out and praying for her and feeling so blessed by being used by God.
Last night The Lord gave me another opportunity to be in prayer for a woman who I had seen at In-n-out. At the time she was being attacked by her abusive boyfriend, so she was hiding in the in-n-out waiting for a taxi. My friends and I waited till 1:30am to make sure she got in, before she did The Lord told me I needed to pray for her and in doing so I knew that I was doing what God had called me to. I say this not to boast of what I did, but to show that God is faithful when we call upon His name and ask to be used. What's funny is those opportunities were so bright to my eyes because I simply asked to see them, but they're really all around us, all the time. You just gotta be willing to see them. - Michael
